Typhoon propane vapour gas burning heaters are of stainless steel and chrome construction with a sturdy steel box section mounting frame designed to give many years of trouble free service for humidity correction or drying on heat.
Available from 320,000 BTU single burner to 1,800,000 BTU quad burner configurations.
Each heater is adjustable and can be raised or lowered to direct the heat into the fan inlet to suit single or multiple fan applications. The control panel is detachable and can be mounted either side of the unit or in other positions in the fan house. The controls give a digital readout of humidity or temperature depending on the purpose it is being used for, grain drying, onion drying or frost protection.
Gas Burner sets available:
TGA85 - 320,000 BTU (single burner)
TGA110 - 450,000 BTU (single burner)
TGA170 - 640,000 BTU (dual burner set)
TGA195 - 770,000 BTU (dual burner set)
TGA220 - 900,000 BTU (dual burner set)

Settings guide
We have prepared some guidance for users of our Typhoon gas burner and fan systems. This is for indicative purposes only and results will vary based on weather conditions, local climate and overall store design.
The fan should be run 24 hours a day until the grain is 18% moisture content. From 18% to final storage moisture level, continue 24 hour running of the fan with the Typhoon modulating burner switched on, by setting the required RH 1/2 of 1% below the crop moisture level i.e. RH 80 = 17.5 for wheat.
Monitoring on a daily basis 1/2 of 1% of moisture can be removed from the relevant area of the store, subject to the correct amount of air to the drying area.
In this way, the minimum use of heat is required and the maximum use of ambient air is utilised, therefore reducing overall drying costs.
